A girl’s gotta eat! And yesterday Hilary Duff was spotted out and about on her way to grabbing some breakfast in Toluca Lake, California.

She looked cute and casual in a grey t-shirt dress (and matching headband) with a pair of Lindsay Lohan-style black leggings and a pair of red flats.

And as she gets older, the “So Yesterday” babe says she’s trying to break out of the goodie-two-shoes/just-a-kid stereotype. And her latest movie, “War, Inc.” was just the thing she needed, Duff says.

“A lot of people didn’t want to give me a chance for a long time, because I was doing movies where I was nice, and I was still a kid. But that put me in a box, and people didn’t want to take a chance on me. When I got this script, I flipped over it. I felt, ‘I need this, I want this.’ It was great just getting to play a character that was so out there and crazy.”

“Not only am I [cursing], but I’m smoking, letting boys put their hands … . The character was a bit vulgar. I don’t think using the … word would have bothered me if I had said it once or twice, but it’s throughout the whole movie. But I’m just acting.”

As if there weren’t enough reasons for female celebrities to be self-conscious around the paparazzi, yesterday Kate Walsh had a mishap that will have people talking for days.

While filming a scene for her hit show Private Practice, Walsh was victimized by a sudden gust of wind when her skirt suddenly flew up exposing her underwear to bystanders.

But like a pro, Kate reacted by reaching back and holding her clothing down so as not to prolong the embarrassing moment. Then she simply laughed it off.

As far as the upcoming Presidential election, Walsh has joined many of her Hollywood peers, and placed her support behind Barack Obama.

Lindsay Lohan’s Parents Back in Court

Just when we thought everything in the Lohan clan was settling down, Dina and Michael have returned to a Long Island courtroom today to battle over custody arrangements.

While LiLo (21) and her 19-year-old brother Michael Jr. are excluded from the situation due to their age, Daddy Lohan has filed a complaint that his ex-wife hasn’t been keeping up her end of the visitation bargain with 14-year-old Ali and 11-year-old Dakota.

Essentially, Michael’s attorney John DiMascio Jr. has claimed that Dina hasn’t allowed his client to visit the two younger children according to the agreement reached previously by the court.

Family Court Judge Stacy Bennett scheduled the next hearing to be July 14th, and sounded as if the situation was hopeful. “I am encouraged to hear that the parties and counsel are working at ways to repair the relationship between the children and the father,” she said, noting that she was also pleased that the two sides were working together to try and iron out the wrinkles

Victoria Beckham: All Business in the Big Apple

Following a night of partying with her celebrity pals at the CFDA Awards, a stylish Victoria Beckham was seen leaving her New York City hotel on Tuesday morning (June 3).
