Pete Wentz Stops By the Studio

With his Mac Book in hand, Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz was spotted out in Los Angeles as he made his way to the studio earlier today (September 9).

And it seems as if life couldn’t be better for Wentz and his “Outta My Head” singing wife, Ashlee Simpson - with the two taking a break from preparing for parenthood to make an appearance at the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday night.

The rock star couple, who are expecting their first child in late November, spoke with press about the sex and name of their baby. Both said they’re 90% sure that the baby will be a boy, but they haven’t decided on any names as of yet.

Wentz, 29, also took the time to discuss a period in his life when things weren’t going so well. He spoke of his battle with depression and revealed how he once played Russian roulette.

“I pulled a trigger on a gun aimed at myself,” he says. “My friend and I did one pull each. We’d been drinking and had taken Ambien. I feel stupid even talking about it. It’s one of the reasons I’ve never owned a gun — I’m too impulsive. I’d probably get mad and shoot someone over a part in a song or something.”

But it seems as if the daddy-to-be has finally gotten his act together, as he tells, “I like the idea that everyone can get depressed and that there is a way to get through it.”

Pink’s 29th Birthday Night Out

All dolled up in her finest garb, Pink was spotted out celebrating her 29th birthday with her girlfriends in Los Angeles on Monday night (September 8).

After dinner and cake at Madeo’s Restaurant, the “So What” singer took the party on over to Hush nightclub for an evening of drinking and dancing.

On the career end of things, Pink’s new video “So What” was officially released on August 18th after being leaked onto the Internet earlier in the month.

And in what will be her fifth studio album, the Pennsylvania native is readying for the upcoming release of her new disc ‘Funhouse’ - to be released in stores and on iTunes on October 28th.
