Though she had a warrant out for her arrest, that didn’t stop Lindsay Lohan from hitting the town of Friday (March 13).
After lunching in Beverly Hills, Miss Lohan went shopping at Gelson’s market - only to be escorted home by police, but for some reason not taken into custody.
Later on in the evening, Miss Lohan then headed off to Chateau Marmont, followed up by a trip to Jack Nicholson’s house.
Of the situation, the Beverly Hills Police Department released the following statement discussing the warrant resulting from Lohan’s 2007 DUI arrest:
“In response to media inquiries, [the] Beverly Hills Police Department is confirming a warrant was in fact issued today [March 13] for the arrest of Lindsay Lohan. The $50,000 warrant issued by the Beverly Hills Superior Court stems from a May 2007 arrest of Miss Lohan for DUI and hit-and-run. The circumstances leading to the issuance of the warrant by the court are not readily available at this time. It is our hope that Miss Lohan will surrender herself so that this matter will be resolved in a timely manner.”
Talking to Us magazine, LiLo’s father, Michael Lohan, has already chimed in, saying, “I’m always worried about Lindsay as long as she’s involved in relationships that are harmful to her.”
“I feel like when you’re around the right people, you do the right thing, when you’re around the wrong people, you do the wrong thing. [But] she’ll deal with [the warrant] like she has to. She’s not going to ignore it. Mark my words, as long as Samantha Ronson is in Lindsay’s life, nothing is going to go right!” papa Lohan added.
There’s nothing like having some uber-famous pals to cheer a girl up. And last night (March 13) Rihanna stepped out in New York City with a little help from her friends.
The “Take a Bow” songstress was spotted leaving a girlfriend’s apartment to meet up with Beyonce Knowles, Jay-Z, and Brandy to celebrate her belated birthday.
Looking for some delicious dining, the celebrity clique headed over to The Spotted Pig restaurant in Manhattan’s West Village for dinner.
In related news, the rumors that Rihanna had a duet in the works with battering boyfriend Chris Brown following their domestic altercation have turned out to be false. A People magazine source revealed, “Contrary to published reports, Chris Brown and Rihanna did not record a duet after the incident.”
