The New York Post has reported that a friend of Kate Hudson’s says Kate believes Cameron is dating A-Rod because she is “struggling to remain sexy and relevant.”
Kate Hudson went public with her romance with Rodriguez, even attending Yankee games. But Cameron is trying to keep a low profile.
Apparently the feud began after Kate saw photos of Cameron sneaking out of Alex’s Manhattan apartment on May 2.
Kate Hudson, 31, is reportedly “pissed” at Cameron for dating her ex only months after their split. Kate seems to believe that Cameron is dating A-Rod out of revenge.
In 2007, Hudson reportedly hooked up with Justin Timberlake days after he and Cameron ended their four-year relationship.
“Kate hates Cameron,” an insider stated. “[She] thinks it’s payback, pure and simple.”
But Cameron’s friends say a long-term relationship is much different than a fling.
“Cameron was actually in a serious long-term relationship with Justin,” a friend of Cameron’s said. “She thinks it’s a joke Kate would be mad. Kate is only upset because she hates being single.”
Cameron, 37, and Alex, 34, have secretly been dating since February, where they were spotted dirty dancing at a Super Bowl party in Miami.
The couple was recently holed up in a suite at Boston’s Liberty Hotel, where they “didn’t even surface for food.”
