I’m a terrible actress. Everyone thinks I’m only friends with Tom and Katie to be in a movie but it’s not true. I’ve turned down lots of roles.”

Ashlee Simpson to Take Wentz Family Name

Wearing a big smile on her face, Ashlee Simpson was spotted out for a bite to eat at Outback Steakhouse in Burbank, California on Tuesday afternoon (May 27).

The newly married “Outta My Head” singer is still beaming over her recent nuptials and honeymoon, also announcing to People magazine plans to officially take husband Pete Wentz’s name.

I think that that’s something that a woman should do when they’re marrying a man,” she tells. “It’s a tradition that I think is a great tradition.”

And to remove any possible confusion, the 23-year-old made it clear that “privately she’ll go by Ashlee Wentz and professionally she’ll be Ashlee Simpson-Wentz.”

Of his bride’s decision on whether or not to take on his family name, Pete said: “These decisions with Ashlee and her name are all completely up to Ashlee. I want her to do these kinds of things the way she wants to do them.”

And of being informed that Ashlee had indeed decided to become a Wentz, the Fall Out Boy rocker told: “Oh man, I was like upgrade me! You know what I’m saying? The Wentz family, our Christmas card just got upgraded! It feels insane. It feels unreal.”

She says, “[I]went into it thinking I wanted to be completely career-oriented. Having cameras around you on a date or with your family is just so uncomfortable.”

And her family can’t get enough. “They think it’s crazy. I have two younger sisters and an older sister and brother and they watch it and just think it’s weird and surreal. But, you know, they laugh about it.”

It feels like Miley Cyrus is constantly embroiled in some sort of controversy. With a slew of questionable pictures being passed around the Internet, followed by a widely-criticized Vanity Fair photo shoot, you’d think the “Hannah Montana” starlet would know when to say when.

Unfortunately for her, though, a few more sexy pictures of her in her underwear with her shirt pulled up have surfaced, raising the question of what’s really going on in her head.

After all, she and her father Billy Ray have been trying so hard to promote a wholesome Christian image. So it doesn’t make sense that she’d be releasing all of these pictures that have served to counteract her efforts to remain above reproach.
