Oprah Winfrey’s Big Secret? A Sister She Never Knew Existed!

Oprah Winfrey has been teasing about a secret she would reveal on her show today, which turns out to be a surprise half-sister!
Oprah Winfrey was recently shocked to learn she had a secret half-sister named Patricia!
Winfrey, 56, discovered she has a younger half-sister, named Patricia, a single mother from Milwaukee, that she just found out about around Thanksgiving.
Oprah’s mother, Vernita Lee, gave Patricia up for adoption shortly after her birth because she couldn’t afford to raise her alone.
Patricia, who is now 47, was in foster care for seven years and was then adopted.  Oprah was nine-years-old at the time, living in Nashville with her father.
Oprah had no idea her mother, who was living in Milwaukee, was pregnant.
Winfrey calls her half-sister “the miracle of miracles” and said the news left her “speechless”.
