Stepping out for an afternoon lunch outing, Rihanna dropped by the popular Da Silvano eatery in New York City on Sunday (May 20).

The “Umbrella” singing beauty joined a pal for the day’s outing, looking happy to be back in the Big Apple following an island getaway to Hawaii.


In related news, hunky “Transformers” star Shia LaBeouf recently opened up with Playboy magazine about a past occasion in which he scored a date with Rihanna.

LaBeouf tells of being set up by a mutual stylist friend, “(I was) filming a sword fight when I got the message. I said to myself, ‘Can this be my life?’”

Shia continues, “It never got beyond one date. The spark wasn’t there. We weren’t passionate about each other in that way, so we remain friends.”

Gwen Stefani Takes the Kids to Kimmel

Showing her boys what a rockstar their mommy is, Gwen Stefani was spotted outside the “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” studio in Hollywood last night following a live performance (May 20).

The “Hella Good” songstress held her oldest Kingston (almost 3 yrs old) in her arms as she chatted up the paparazzi and signed autographs.



Meanwhile, her youngest Zuma was tended to by a nanny, and it looks like he was trying to keep up with his big brother’s funky hairstyle by sporting a faux hawk of his own.

Gwen recently reunited with her band No Doubt and kicked off a major North American tour ahead of recording a brand new studio album.

Pink Pops Up in Perth

She made the long trek to the Land Down Under yesterday, and earlier today (May 19) Pink was spotted out in Perth, Australia.

The “Stupid Girls” singer, who is in town to play a couple shows at the Burswood Dome, looked quite comfy in black Uggs, grey sweatpants and a tank top as she left a local restaurant after having some lunch.




In related news, the singer recently reconciled with motocross champion Carey Hart after separating in 2008, and last week in an interview with Ellen DeGeneres, she hinted that they are considering renewing their marital vows.

However, the pop star has since denied she remarried Hart last Saturday - insisting it was actually her best friend who walked down the aisle at her California home.

Kim Kardashian: Vandalism at Dash Boutique

Not looking too pleased earlier today (May 19), Kim Kardashian was spotted arriving at the new Dash store in Miami, FL to find someone had vandalized the front of the building.

According to the Miami Herald, a store employee arrived early this morning to find the store window had been busted, but nothing had been taken, thankfully.



Kourtney, the oldest of the sisters, took to her official Web site saying, ‘’All of the graffiti on the wall was gang-related and there were carvings in the glass. All in all, the damage is pretty bad, but they’re painting over it now!”

The employee who initially noticed the graffiti alerted Kim through her Twitter page, saying, “We are having a CRISIS! Can u meet me at Dash???”

Police continue to investigate the crime and hopefully the store will officially open tomorrow, as planned.

Rihanna: Nude Photo Drama

Just when it looked like she had overcome the horror of her domestic beating at the hands of ex-boyfriend Chris Brown, Rihanna has been ensnared in a nude photo scandal.

According to a report, pictures of a woman closely resembling the “Take a Bow” songstress have appeared on the Internet, a few of which show nudity. However the naked pictures don’t show a clear shot of her face.



Only two of the pictures have Ri-Ri’s mug in them, and she’s fully-clothed in each. Also in the mix is a picture of a man who looks like Chris Brown with a pair of pink undies on his head.

Another shot has a woman who looks like Rihanna (real name: Robyn Fenty) standing in front of a mirror with the words “I love you, Robyn. I miss you,” written on it.

Neither Rihanna nor her record company has commented on the authenticity of the photos, but rather that the pictures are a “violation of artist’s rights.”

Gwen Stefani: Balancing Family with No Doubt

Taking a break from her career comeback duties, Gwen Stefani spent the day with her two boys while out at The Grove in West Hollywood on Saturday (May 9).

The “Hollaback Girl” singer toted her youngest son Zuma in her arms as Kingston made a mad dash straight for paparazzi upon hopping out of the car.



The family outing (sans hubby Gavin Rossdale) comes just after Gwen and her No Doubt bandmates made their much-awaited return to the stage on the Today Show earlier this week.

Also appearing on “American Idol” during the course of the week, Gwen was asked by host Ryan Seacrest why the group is touring for the first time in over five years despite not releasing a new album.

Stefani quickly replied, “My fault, my fault, my fault. I had all the babies and all that and then I was home. ... I just said let’s just go on tour. I don’t want to be home writing. I just want to get out there, see everybody, get inspired and kind of do it backwards.”

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden: Happy to Be Home

They’ve been busy in Miami, Florida as of late with the launch of the House of Harlow 1960 jewelry line, but yesterday (May 8) Nicole Richie and Joel Madden were spotted settling back into life in Los Angeles.

The “Simple Life” cutie made sure to make time for her little girl Harlow Winter before heading off to her usual Pilates class followed by a trip to Sharky’s restaurant.



Meanwhile, Joel met up with his brother Benji Madden for a little boy time, working out and hitting up a local café for an iced coffee beverage.

Following their day apart, Nicole and Joel teamed back up in the evening to catch a flick along with a female friend.

Amy Winehouse’s Comeback Gig Cut Short

It was her first concert of 2009, but Amy Winehouse’s comeback gig last night (May 8) as part of the St. Lucia Jazz Festival was truncated due to weather.

The “You Know I’m No Good” songstress looked to be in bad shape as she fumbled through the first half of her set list, resulting in massive boo-ing from the crowd.



And at one point, heavy rains poured down on the festival site, causing Winehouse and her band to stop the set. Amy tried to continue with the performance, but was finally forced to retire as a lighting rig had failed and some of the sound equipment stopped working.

Amy’s rep Chris Goodman told press that she was disappointed with the conditions as she’d hoped to repay people in St. Lucia for their kindness and hospitality towards her.

Beyonce Breezes Through Berlin

Drawing an end to what was a fun-filled stay in Berlin, Beyonce Knowles was spotted preparing to fly out of Tegel Airport on Saturday (May 9).

The previous evening, Miss Knowles stepped out to Puro club, decked out in a sexy white ensemble as she performed alongside her younger sister, Solange.




And though she’s currently in the midst of her “I AM...” world tour, Beyonce may be looking at a little downtime following the rigorous tour.

“My priorities are slowly changing. So after this tour I might be tired and want to take two years off,” she tells the June issue of Marie Claire. “I’ve worked hard enough to be able to do that. I’m in a very good place.”

Lindsay and Ali Lohan: Spago Sisters

Spending much of their time together as of late, Lindsay Lohan and her younger sister Ali were spotted making their rounds in Beverly Hills on Friday night (May 8).

After partaking in a refreshing bout of retail therapy at the local Fendi store, the pair then dined at Spago restaurant.



Meanwhile, questions and criticism have been sparked as to just how Ali, at 15-years-old, isn’t in school with the rest of the young children her age.

Responding to the matter, Lindsay and Ali’s mom, Dina, told People magazine, “Ali is in a home-schooling program. She has never been pulled out of school. It’s the same home-schooling program that Lindsay was in since the tenth grade. It’s a wonderful program that many celebrities are enrolled in.”

Continuing on to defend her often-criticized parenting skills, Mama Lohan adds, “I am a single mom of four children, and I devote my life to my children.”

Brooke Hogan: Happy 21st Birthday

She’s always been a fan of the limelight, and last night (May 5) Brooke Hogan celebrated her 21st birthday with a major Las Vegas bash.

The “Brooke Knows Best” hottie hosted a swanky shindig at Pure Nightclub inside Caesars Palace Resort Casino, joined by her father Hulk, his girlfriend Jennifer McDaniel, and brother Nick.




Earlier in the day, the Hogan family took advantage of the Sin City shopping opportunities with a round of retail therapy on the strip.

Brooke, Hulk, and Nick grabbed a couple of scooters and hit up the Caesars Palace Forum Shops, checking out watches and heading inside the Guess store.

Rihanna Lands 4 Urban Music Awards Nominations

Keeping quite the active schedule, Rihanna was spotted leaving her hotel for another evening out in New York City on Wednesday (May 6).

Following a midday retail romp and apartment hunt, the 21-year-old Barbadian beauty swapped outfits before hitting the hotel exit and heading towards an awaiting ride.



Meanwhile, it was just recently announced that Rihanna has landed four nominations for the upcoming 2009 Urban Music Awards.

Reports tells that the Grammy-winning “Umbrella” singer is up for Best Female Act, Best R&B Act, Best Music Video and Artist of the Year at the awards ceremony set to take place in NYC on July 17th.

Rapper Eminem Talks About His Drug Addiction

Rapper Eminem opens up about his drug addiction that nearly took his life. Read more on Eminem’s revealing interview with Vibe magazine below.

Eminem reveals his drug addiction, which included anywhere from 10 to 20 pills a day.

“It’s no secret I had a drug problem,” Eminem wrote. “If I was to give you a number of Vicodin I would actually take in a day? Anywhere between 10 to 20. Valium, Ambien, the numbers got so high I don’t even know what I was taking.”

Eminem went to rehab in 2005, but relapsed and nearly died from an overdose of blue pills a friend had given him.

“My doctor told me those mysterious new pills were methadone, which is used to wean heroin addicts off dope,” he says. “Had I known it was methadone, I probably wouldn’t have taken it. But as bad as I was back then, I can’t even say 100 percent for sure. My doctor told me the amount of methadone I’d taken was equivalent to shooting up four bags of heroin. Even when they told me I almost died, it didn’t click.”

After Eminem got the drugs out of his system, he then had a knee injury that required surgery, but because of his drug abuse, he was not prescribed any pain killers.

“I started looking around my house to see if I had a stash box of Vicodin,” he says. “I’m ransacking my house, finally find something in the basement, in a little napkin, seven and a half Vicodin — the big extra strength ones — and a few Valium.”

It was at this time Eminem realized he was an addict.

“It never once hit me that drug addiction runs in my family,” he says. “Now that I understand that I’m an addict, I definitely have compassion for my mother. I get it.”

Now Eminem has been sober for a year and has a new album called “Relapse”, which comes out May 19. Eminem said, “I wanted to make an overall statement — I’m back. It was a slow process. You gotta remember I hadn’t recorded a song sober in seven years. So it took me awhile to even feel like I could record a song sober … I don’t know the last time I shot a video sober, without drinking or taking anything. It’s been years.”

Eminem also said, “I almost feel like a little kid again with rap. I wanna play around with different flows. If I don’t feel like it’s what I’m fully capable of, if there’s one weak line, I wanna change it. Rap was my drug. It used to get me high and then it stopped getting me high. Then I had to resort to other things to make me feel that … now rap’s getting me high again.”

Reality star Kim Kardashian is trying to “trick” us again. As with Kardashian’s fake tattoo… she debuted a new lighter haircolor over the weekend while out in New York Sunday saying she had colored her hair.

Kardashian even posted on her Twitter page about going blonde. “I’m loving my new blonde hair!” she said on her Twitter page.

She followed the big fake announcement up with a photo. “I went blonde!” Kim Kardashian wrote.

But on Monday Kim admitted it was just a wig. Here’s what Kim said on Twitter:

It’s a wig! Did I have you fooled? I did a fabulous photo shoot this weekend and they put this hair piece on! I haven’t taken it off since, because I’m really loving the look. I’ve been wearing it around New York and everyone thought it was my real hair! It’s making me want to dye my hair and maybe go lighter for the summer. What do you think? Should I dye it for real?
