She’s definitely known for her eccentric nature, and at tonight’s 2009 MTV Video Music Awards, Lady GaGa made quite an impression as she arrived at Radio City Music Hall.

The “Just Dance” songstress displayed her usual unique fashion sense with a half-face mask and an all-black feathered dress, complete with a massive hat.





Not only will GaGa be adding to the pomp and circumstance of the evening with her presence, she’ll also be taking the stage for a sure-to-be memorable performance.

And if she’s lucky, Lady GaGa will take home any number of the nine total awards she’s nominated for.

Madonna’s Michael Jackson VMA Tribute

Though she’s usually known for stirring up controversy, Madonna gave a heartwarming tribute to Michael Jackson at the opening of tonight’s 2009 MTV Video Music Awards.

The “Like a Virgin” kicked off the show with a monologue explaining the similarities between herself and the late King of Pop, lamenting his poor treatment at the hands of the public.


Dressed in a very fashionable black ensemble, Madge put to words the pain that so many have felt since Jackson’s passing this past June 25th.

Following Madonna’s address, Janet Jackson highlighted a dance-infused set of some of Jackson’s best-loved songs.

Lady GaGa Rocks the VMAs

Fresh from a world tour, Lady GaGa was all about showing the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards her performing prowess.

The “Poker Face” diva was nothing short of outstanding as she took the stage for a memorable and dramatic rendition of her latest hit “Paparazzi.”




And true to form, GaGa took things to the extreme by simulating a self-hanging scenario, complete with fake facial blood.

Lady GaGa joined the illustrious list of VMA performers including Green Day, Beyonce Knowles, Taylor Swift, and Janet Jackson.

MTO reports that Lil Wayne and Lauren’s baby boy weighed in at 7 lbs ad 12 oz., and was 21 inches long. And Weezy is said to have been present in the delivery room for the birth.

The child is London’s first, and Lil Wayne’s third. He has two children from two other mothers. He has a daughter named Reginae from his former high school sweetheart, Antonia “Toya” Carter, and a son Dwayne, who was born last October.

“Lauren London and Dwayne Carter welcomed their healthy baby boy into the world on 09-09-09,” Lauren’s publicist told hiphollywood.com “Everyone is happy and well.”

Serena Williams Went Off On A Judge

Serena Williams lost her cool and cursed out the line judge at the US Open on Saturday night.

Serena Williams was called on a foot fault, and said some nasty things to the line judge and lost the game to Kim Clijsters. .


And what did Serena Williams Say to Line Judge that cause her to Lose Match Point?

“I swear to God I’m fu*king taking this ball and shoving it down your fu*king throat…” and then after a bunch of other yelling she closed it off with a… “motherfu*ker.”

Serena Williams truly embarrassed herself on Saturday night during the incident at the U.S. Open. The way it went down was as follows:

* She was given a point penalty on match point, which meant she lost her semifinal to Kim Clijsters, 6-4, 7-5.

* She was given the point penalty because, after a linesperson called a foot fault on her first serve at 15-40, she went over to the linesperson, shook her fist at her, and from just several feet away, said, according to several witnesses courtside, “You don’t know me. You better be right. I could shove this ball down your throat.” Interspersed with this were several F-bombs.

* The lineswoman was called to the chair umpire to report what had been said. The chair umpire had given Williams a warning/code violation at the end of the first set, when Williams smashed her racket to the court and broke it. That is a routine call for chair umpires. A second violation called from the chair is loss of a point, a third loss of the match. Williams’ second violation was on match point.

* The point violation was assessed after a conference around the umpire’s chair that included chair umpire Louise Engzell, tournament referee Brian Earley, the unidentified lineswoman and Williams. During that confab, Williams was overheard on TV microphones as denying she had threatened to kill the lineswoman.

Quickly, Williams was tossing her racket on her bag and walking to the back of the court, where a confused Clijsters spread her palms open as if to say, “What’s going on?” and then accepted Williams’ handshake and short hug.

Jay-Z Puts On Benefit Concert At Madison Square Garden

Jay-Z’s “Answer the Call 911 Benefit Concert“ at Madison Square Garden in NY last night (September 11) was a star studded affair. Jay-Z was joined on stage by Mary J. Blige, Beyonce, Diddy, Rihanna, Kanye West, Memph Bleek, Kid Cudi, and John Mayer. All proceeds from the concert will be donated to the New York Police and Fire Widow’s and Children’s Benefit Fund.

Kate Gosselin: Upset Over Interview

Jon and Kate Gosselin’s bitterness isn’t over yet. “She is beyond angry,” a source told “Good Morning America” when asked about her alleged infidelity.

“She knows Jon is just trying to vent his anger at her,” the insider said, “but she feels he’s gone way too far.”




Jon was questioned about the reports that Kate had an affair with bodyguard Steve Neild and responded with:"I speculate, but I don’t know — that’s a general feel. You know, almost like when they were traveling together, I felt jealous . . . Here, I’m Mr. Mom. And then there’s some other guy traveling with my wife. Whether it’s protection or not, it’s all in — it’s in the back of my mind.”

While sitting with Chris Cuomo, Jon certainly took a beat down. He felt like he’s gone from “America’s favorite dad to dirt-bag.” He also added that he despises Kate for her two-facedness.

So how was the mother of eight doing during the interview? Close sources to the mom said she tried to be prepared but was still shocked.

Sources close to Kate say she had tried to brace herself for the interview, Radar Online reports, but was still taken aback.

“Kate knew it was coming,” an insider says, “But it’s still pretty bad.”

But what may be making Kate most mad is that she believes Jon is stirring up the fire of the rumors with bodyguard Neild.

Jon also failed to follow the mutually-agreed-upon 45-day media blackout following their divorce announcement. One source says he talked to press just days after.

But one source adds that, although she is hurt, she is fearful for what impact the divorce could have on the children in the future.

“While I certainly have a very different perception of how our marriage dissolved, for the sake of my children I maintain that I’m not going to go into details of aspects I believe should remain private.”

Jon Gosselin: Chilling at Home

Taking a break from his usual whirlwind lifestyle, Jon Gosselin was spotted hanging out at his Reading, Pennsylvania home yesterday (September 10).

The “Jon and Kate Plus 8” papa chatted on his mobile phone while the nanny looked for her car keys and found them thanks to the help of the Gosselin kids.


According to a report, Jon gave his girlfriend Hailey Glassman a tour of Wernersville yesterday beginning with breakfast at a local diner before hopping into a borrowed classic car and hitting the streets.

An eyewitness told press, “They definitely looked like two people in love. They were both laughing and smiling and just enjoying being together finally without worrying about being seen. They kissed and held hands a lot.”

Of his girlfriend, Jon told press, “I get encouragement from her, I get respect from her. Two things that a man needs. This is someone, I mean, like soul mate — like people joke about that. But I’m not joking about that.”

Beyonce and Jay-Z wanted to keep their wedding day a secret to avoid unwanted attention, but the rapper admits some friends and family were disappointed not to be invited.

Jay-Z told TV host Oprah Winfrey in an interview for O magazine: “Very few people knew about it. The sad part is that we offended some.”

“But people who love you understand because, at the end of the day, it’s your day.”

In their quiet wedding ceremony held in April 2008 at the rapper’s penthouse apartment in New York. The couple had a big party that was attended by Beyonce’s parents, Tina and Mathew Knowles, her sister Solange, Destiny’s Child bandmates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams and their actress friend Gwyneth Paltrow.

Jay-Z also opened up about his rough childhood growing up in New York’s Brooklyn district. He explained that dealing drugs seemed the “natural” route for him to take. Jay-Z said, “If anyone did become something like a lawyer or doctor or something like that, they moved out.”

“They never came back to share the wisdom of how they made it. If anyone made it, you never knew it. That’s why I always said if I became successful, I’d come back here, grab somebody, and show him how it can be done.”

Jon Gosselin Slams Kate: “I Was Verbally Abused”

Jon Gosselin did an interview with ABC’s Chris Cuomo, and the reality dad bashed his estranged wife Kate saying he despises her. Read more of what Jon had to say about Kate below.


The “Jon & Kate Plus 8″ star says he was pushed to the limit by his wife Kate during their 10-year marriage.

“I was verbally abused,” the 32-year-old accuses. “I was beaten down. She separated me from my family. She used to hold the kids over my head and say, ‘Don’t spend time with your mom, spend time with your kids.’ Why can’t I spend time with my mom and kids together?”

Jon also said Kate called him all kinds of names.

“She’ll call me, like, almost like a ‘lame fish,’ ” Gosselin says in the taped interview from Aug. 28. “Like I wasn’t going anywhere. Well, excuse me, I’m taking care of the kids. She’s on book tours, she’s doing all these things. You know, she’s gone a week. You know, comes back. Unpacks, repacks, does laundry, packs up and leaves again. And I’m standing there like, ‘Oh, OK. Your mom’s gone again.’ But I took a lot of abuse from her. You know, I was put down.”

Jon remembers back to when he was sick of Kate and fought for his right to go out.

“In 10 years, I’ve never gone out…When she said, ‘I don’t want you going out,’ I…I used to say, ‘OK, I’m not going to go out.’ I was very passive. This is the first time I said, ‘You know what? I want to see my friends. I’m going out,’ ” Gosselin says.

“That was the first time in my life I ever stood up to Kate…I just felt like I had to take back some time in my life, and I did it. And I felt really good. I made my own decision…I was beaten down for so long, I couldn’t even make my own decision. And when I did, I was like, holy cow! You know? Yeah, what’s she gonna do? Divorce me? All right. Obviously. You know.”

Jon married Kate when he was 22 years-old and seems to want to make up for the time he lost.

“I had twins at 23. I had sextuplets at 27. Bye-bye, twenties,” Gosselin says. “Raising all those kids until you’re 30 and, you know, you don’t even think about what’s going on around you. You do what you got to do to survive.”

Jon Gosselin revealed that it was Kate’s verbal abuse that made the marriage irreparable. And Jon says it was Kate who actually called it quits.

“She made the first move. She knows the truth,” Gosselin says. “I wish to God she would speak from emotions.”

But Kate tells GMA her side of the story:

“While I certainly have a very different perception of how our marriage dissolved, for the sake of my children I maintain that I’m not going to go into details of aspects I believe should remain private,” she said.

Things certainly don’t look good for the reality couple. Jon even said, “I can’t sit on a sofa with that woman. I can’t sit on someone right now that I despise—I despise because she’s not speaking from the heart. Please, the stuff you tell me in private should be the stuff you tell me on TV.”

They are living separately but share custody of their eight children.

“I’ve cried more now in the last, like, eight months…than my entire life,” Jon said. “Our relationship will never be fixed… I don’t trust her anymore. I was abused…I was beaten down…I’m not going back to that lifestyle.”

Jon says he finally decided to speak out and tell his side of the story.

“You get frustrated and pent up. I have no voice in the media,” he tells Cuomo. “I want to let the world know that I’m a real person with feelings. Yeah, OK, I made mistakes. Maybe it wasn’t the best idea to go out to the clubs.”

The ABC interview with “America’s Favorite Father” airs Tuesday at 10 p.m. in the special Primetime: Family Secrets.

Tisha Campbell-Martin has given birth to her second child! Read more below for details on Tisha’s baby news!


Tisha Campbell-Martin, 40, and hubby Duane Martin, 44, welcomed a baby boy they named Ezekiel Czar Martin in Los Angeles on Tuesday morning.

Baby Ezekiel weighed a healthy nine pounds, nine ounces and was 23 inches long. Ezekiel wasn’t actually due until September 21 so he would have been huge.

Tisha’s new baby will join older brother, Xen, 8.

Campbell-Martin said she had no issue with being pregnant at 40.

“I’m enjoying it. I’m 40, and having a baby!” she said. “Every moment, every nauseous moment, everything that is good and not so good about being pregnant, I’m enjoying.”

Tisha currently stars in Lifetime Television’s comedy series Rita Rocks, which returns for the second season on Monday, Oct. 5 at 7:30 p.m. ET/PT.

The couple welcomed their new son Sparrow James Midnight Madden early Wednesday, September 9th in Los Angeles, California. Little Sparrow weighed in at 7 lbs., 14 oz.

“Nicole, Joel, Harlow and Sparrow are all doing well. Thank you for all of your good wishes,” reads a statement on Nicole’s website.

Sparrow will join big sister Harlow Winter Kate, who turns 20 months this week.

The couple had announced the pregnancy in February, and Joel said, “I am so happy to tell everyone that Harlow is going to be a big sister! God has truly blessed my family. Hope you’re all feeling as good as I am right now.”

Hugh Hefner Files For Divorce From Kimberly Conrad

After being separated for 11 years, Playboy’s founder Hugh Hefner, 83, has finally filed for divorce from his second wife Kimberly Conrad. Read more on Hugh Hefner’s divorce below.

Hugh Hefner filed for divorce from his former Playboy Playmate second wife, Kimberly Conrad, citing irreconcilable differences.

The couple married in July 1989 and separated nine years later, but they remained legally married.

Kimberly Conrad, 47, is the mother of two of Hefner’s four children, and has been supported by Hefner all these years living in a home next to the Playboy mansion.

Things became tense when Hefner sold the house Conrad was living in… and Kimberly sued Hefner saying he owed her more than five million dollars.

The divorce documents also state that Hugh is asking the judge to set spousal support at $20,000 per month because he has already given Kimberly close to $12 million since their 1998 separation.

Something interesting just reported by TMZ:

TMZ just spoke with the Playboy kingpin, who told us he made the decision to officially break it off with his estranged wife, and mother of his two children, strictly because she filed a $5 million lawsuit against him last month relating to the sale of a house they owned together.

As for why he had stayed married during the 11-years they have been estranged, Hef says, “At the time of the separation, I was happy to get a divorce … I only remained married for the sake of the children at her request.”

Hef told us that he was “faithful” during the time they were together, but says Kim had cheated on him “early in the relationship.” Hef says he knows who the other person is, but would not reveal the identity.

Hef did reveal his frustrations with the lawsuit — claiming he has paid Kimberley every cent that he agreed to pay her in their prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, adding, “I have been generous to a fault.”
