Rihanna And Chris Brown: Clubbing In Paris

Taking full advantage of their time in France, Rihanna and Chris Brown were spotted out at a club in Paris this evening, having a marvelous time together.

The “Take a Bow” songstress apparently needed to unwind following her appearance on the French television show “Star Academy,” on which she brought the house down with a killer performance of her hit “Umbrella” with a contestant, as well as a solo rendition of “Rehab.”

Coming up in January, Rihanna will be performing for the Recording Industry Association of America’s Presidential Inauguration Charity Ball to benefit Feeding America.

Feeding America’s president and CEO Vicki Escarra told press, “We could not be happier that Rihanna will be performing at the Inauguration charity ball to benefit Feeding America. Rihanna’s involvement will help raise awareness about the prevalence of hunger in America and help bring more aid to the 36 million Americans who do not always know where they will find their next meal.”

Gwen Stefani Embraces Motherhood

Tending to her motherly responsibilities, Gwen Stefani was spotted out and about yesterday (December 4) with her two sons Kingston and Zuma, as well as a nanny.

The “Hella Good” songstress began the outing with a trip to a pharmacy to pick up a few items before heading over to a nearby park for some active quality time. Gwen even changed a diaper at the top of one of the slides!

As for her husband Gavin Rossdale’s latest album Wanderlust, it seems Stefani is a bit annoyed that he included a duet track that she sang on.

Rossdale recently told press that he felt it was “cool” to have her on the track “Some Days,” but that she was still bothered by it. “She told me she had an idea and offered to sing, which turned out great.”

Paris Hilton Parties with Avril, Benji and Her BFF

They’ve been spotted out in Los Angeles together a few times as of late, and last night Paris Hilton and Avril Lavigne were once again partying at the same club.

The “Simple Life” hottie was joined by her new BFF Brittany Flickinger as she hit up Bar Deluxe where Avril and her husband Deryck Whibley were also enjoying some LA nightlife, along with Paris’ ex-boyfriend Benji Madden


However, as Paris and Brittany tried to make their exit, a riot broke out between some drunk bar-goers and the paparazzi, causing Miss Hilton to fall down. Once they made it to their car, they were trapped by all of the commotion of police cars, helicopters, and ambulances.

Prior to their wild night out, Paris and Brittany were over at the grand opening of the SLS Hotel in Beverly Hills, while Deryck and Avril enjoyed a romantic dinner date at Madeo.

Jessica Simpson Launches “Fancy” Fragrance

Continuing to expand her line of products, Jessica Simpson launched her new fragrance “Fancy” at the Macy’s in Chicago on Saturday evening (December 6).

Switching between a holiday-inspired Santa outfit and a sexy navy and gold ensemble, the “Dukes of Hazzard” damsel greeted fans and signed autographs while posing with her new scent and her pet pooch, Daisy.



In related news, Miss Simpson recently sparked rumors that she’ll be moving in with boyfriend Tony Romo, after reportedly “swapping her hotel room to stay with the football star during a recent visit to her home state.”

A source tells the Us Weekly, “They are doing great. Now it’s Tony, Jess and his roommate!” Meanwhile, another insider adds, “Jessica stays at his home when she’s in town, but she hasn’t totally moved in yet. She’s been busy with her country music stuff. ... She helped him decorate the house. She really took the reins.”

Rihanna: Lookin’ Fine at LAX

With a Louis Vuitton bag thrown over her shoulder, the always-stylish Rihanna was spotted arriving at Los Angeles International Airport on Saturday afternoon (December 6).

As she made her way through the terminal and out of the airport, the 20-year-old Barbadian beauty seemed less than pleased to see photographers on the scene, as she’s currently named in a lawsuit filed against herself and beau Chris Brown by a paparazzo.

According to AP reports, “a photographer with tbt, a St. Petersburg alternative publication, is suing the R&B singers, saying their bodyguards beat him and broke his camera.”

Last week, Luis Santana filed the $1 million lawsuit, which “also names the bodyguards and a St. Petersburg club where the attack allegedly occurred May 6.”

Since the suit was filed, Brown’s attorney, Kenneth Meiselas, blasted the allegations, claiming that neither the singer nor his security were involved in the alleged incident.

Kanye West Arrested for Assault on Photographer in Britain

Rap superstar Kanye West was arrested after an alleged run-in with a photographer outside a nightclub in Newcastle on Friday morning.

The rapper was arrested on suspicion of assault outside the Tup Tup Palace, reports Britain's Evening Chronicle.

"We can confirm that a 31-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault following an incident at a Newcastle city center club in the early hours of this morning," said a Northumbria Police spokeswoman. "He was released without charge and no further action is being taken."

Earlier in the night, West performed a sold out show at the Metro Radio Arena as part of his Glow in the Dark world tour, according to People.com.

This is not the rap star's first clash with the paparazzi. In September, the "Love Lockdown" hitmaker was arrested for vandalism at the Los Angeles airport after allegedly damaging a photographer's camera.

Wildfire Sweeps Through California Near Oprah Winfrey's Home

A wildfire has destroyed more than 100 homes and injured 13 people in the Mediterranean-style coastal town of Montecito, California, which is home to celebrities such as Oprah Winfrey.

Firefighters struggled to get control of the raging fire, and said they had to work fast before the winds picked up. Evening winds known locally as "sundowners," gusting up to 70 mph from land to sea, pushed the fire with frightening speed Thursday, chewing up mansions, exploding eucalyptus trees and turning rolling hills into a glowing nightmare, The Associated Press is reporting.

Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger declared a state of emergency in Santa Barbara County on Friday as residents waited anxiously for word of their homes. Many of them fled flames with just a few minutes' notice.

"We're going to have a very, very tough day today for firefighting and when the winds kick up this afternoon, we're going to have an incredibly challenging situation," said Santa Barbara City Fire Chief Ron Prince. "Control of this fire is not even in sight."
Authorities say the fire broke out just before 6 p.m. Thursday and spread to about 2,500 acres — nearly 4 square miles — by early Friday. It destroyed dozens of luxury homes and parts of a college campus in the tiny community of Montecito and an unknown number of homes in neighboring Santa Barbara. The cause was not immediately known. There was no estimate for containment for the fire, which more than 500 firefighters were battling.

The fire temporarily knocked out power to more than 20,000 homes in Santa Barbara, a city of about 90,000.

About 300 Westmont students fled to a gym where they spent the night sleeping on cots. Some stood in groups praying, others sobbed openly and comforted each other.

Montecito, a quiet enclave known for its balmy climate and charming Spanish colonial homes, has long attracted celebrities. Oprah Winfrey and Rob Lowe are among the homeowners there, though their homes had not been destroyed and neither was in the area Thursday night, their publicists told the AP.

Paris Hilton: Early Morning at LAX

Jetting out of town solo, Paris Hilton was spotted out for an early morning flight out of Los Angeles on Friday (November 14).

Sporting a casual ensemble, the hotel heiress was all smiles as she showed up at LAX Airport with McDonald’s breakfast in-hand, prying past paparazzi to the security checkpoint.

Meanwhile, the “My New BFF” starlet and her rocker beau Benji Madden will be teaming up for a trip to Sydney on New Year’s Eve, as they were just recently was announced to be the star guests at the launch of a new online social networking system, Bongo Virus.

Of the event, Hilton told press, “I love the idea ... Sydney is going to go off this New Year’s Eve ... I can’t wait to be partying with the Aussies and Benji deejaying by my side.”

Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson: Paris Bound

Following a long night of partying in London, Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson were spotted up-and-about on Friday (November 14), heading off to Paris, France.

The “Mean Girls” starlet and her DJ mate showed up to a horde of paparazzi awaiting their arrival at the Eurostar terminal in London’s St Pancras station.

On this particular day, LiLo sported a white sweater and a large black Chanel handbag while Samantha kept her distance as they entered the terminal building.

The loved-up duo are currently traveling the world as DJ Ronson spins at some of the top clubs - with rumors that an engagement may take place sometime in the near future.

“After spending weeks discussing rings, they want to visit two leading jewelers in Paris with their finalized design. It’s something they’ve been working on and naturally they’re really excited,” an insider told press.

Angelina Jolie: Focused On Family

Ready to step away from the limelight, Angelina Jolie recently revealed that she plans to focus her attention solely on family in the near future.

“I don’t plan to keep acting very long,” Jolie tells the BBC. “I’m ready to do a few things now and fade away and get ready to be a grandma one day.”


As for what’s next, the 33-year-old “Changeling” actress says that she plans to work for a few months starting in February, before taking a year off.

“I won’t work again probably for another year,” she says. “So maybe it’ll be once a year, then maybe it’ll be once every three years.”

Angelina adds: “I have a lot of children. I have a big responsibility to make sure that they’re growing right and that they have got us there for them.”

Amy Winehouse’s Wild Night Out

There’s never a dull moment when Amy Winehouse is involved. And last night she was up to her usual randomness as she cavorted around North London.

The troubled “Rehab” singer paid a visit to her old flat in Camden in search of her husband Blake Fielder-Civil, who was recently released early from prison.


Winehouse banged on the door of her old residence and screamed in vain for Blake, but there was sadly no reply. Amy’s gal pal Remi Nicole passed by in a friend’s car and stopped to make sure she was alright.

The “You Know I’m No Good” songstress eventually gave up and began on her way back home, signing an autograph for a fan in his own name. On the way she barged into a neighbor’s house before she entered her own home and spoke to the paparazzi via her intercom.

Oprah Winfrey Retiring and Ditching ABC for OWN Network?

is expanding her media empire and launching her own television network.

Discovery Communications, which is partnering with Winfrey in the OWN (Oprah Winfrey Network) cable channel starting next year with distribution in 70 million U.S. homes, announced yesterday "The Oprah Winfrey Show" will cease to air via syndication on ABC by September 2011.

"The expectation is that after that, her show will go off of ABC in syndication and she will come to OWN," Discovery CEO David Zaslav said on the company's first earnings call as a public company. "We're talking now about what the presence will be and what kind of programming she would be involved in directly. But this is her Chapter 2, and building the OWN brand online and on-air is . . . a core mission for her."

Zaslav said Winfrey now is "very involved with us and focusing on what the channel is going to be, as well as developing Oprah.com."

The move is a blow both to CBS-TV Distribution, which syndicates the show, as well as to ABC, which airs it, reports the NY Post.

But Oprah's company, Harpo, said in a statement that although her production contract is up in 2011, "she has not made a final decision as to whether she will continue her show in syndication beyond that."

The deal between Winfrey and Discovery was originally described as a "cashless transaction" for a 50-50 joint venture that will be independent of other Discovery channel holdings. Winfrey will have full editorial control of OWN and oversee its programming - a sticking point when she was involved with Oxygen. Winfrey sold her Oxygen stake to NBC because its programming didn't reflect her creative vision, according to the Post.

Oprah favorites like decorator Nate Berkus and Dr. Mehmet Oz are expected to have shows on the new network, as is her best friend, Gayle King.

'Real Housewives of Atlanta' Reunion: Lisa and Kim Throwdown

If you missed last night's episode of Bravo's hit reality show "The Real Housewives of Atlanta," we've got your Wednesday morning fix. As normal, the hour-long series consisted of the usual backbiting chatter between the ladies, with Lisa Wu Hartwell being the exception.

Hartwell has managed to steer clear of any drama on the show, but the mother of three says she was pushed past her limit by costar Kim Zolciak during the recent taping of the reunion show.

"I’ve been extremely diplomatic and there are horrible things I could have said but I have chosen not to and still do," Wu Hartwell tells Essence.com. "When you come after my integrity or my family, then you’re going to see a different person."

Lisa says viewers will likely be taken aback by her sudden unleash of emotion on the reunion show, which is scheduled to air Nov. 25.

"People will be surprised because I was surprised and somewhat embarrassed myself," she says. "But I’m human and you have to let people know that they can’t just say whatever they want to you."

Wu Hartwell says the season – also featuring co-stars Sheree, NeNe and DeShawn, was a true eye-opener.

"I was naïve coming in and I’ve learned some people just have ill intentions," she says, "so I will deal with each individual accordingly. But people need to know that yes, I’m a businesswoman but I’m also a sparring woman!"

And she means it literally. "I have a brown belt, one belt away from a black belt in Kajukenbo," she adds. "That’s a combination of Karate, Judo, Kimbo, Chinese boxing and Kung Fu."

Paris Hilton: Pampered Princess

When she wants to just chill out and relax, Paris Hilton knows just how to do it. And yesterday the “Simple Life” cutie was spotted visiting several pampering places.

The paparazzi caught up to Miss Hilton as she was leaving a spa on Melrose Avenue in West Hollywood, smiling and chatting with a few patrons before she hopped into her car

Before that, the “Hottie and the Nottie” was over at the Portofino Tanning Salon for a relaxing and beautifying tanning session.

Earlier in the day, Paris had an appointment at the Kate Sommerville Skin Clinic, and as she left, she chatted on her mobile phone. With such a busy schedule, a girl’s gotta keep in touch with her peeps!
